hi! i’ve heard about your podcast from listening to Roe and Lo on Project Archivist. What a treat! i’ve only caught a handful of shows so far (just been a week or so) and i am happily contemplating the archives.
Roald Dahl has some great dark humor stories – there’s one where a housewife kills her husband in a fit of pique with a leg of lamb. She panics and leaves the house, then she just goes on automatic, continues shopping for and cooking dinner……anyway the last scene is the detectives accepting her invite to dinner, musing on how much easier it would be to solve this crime if only they could find the murder weapon, whilst complimenting her on the delicious lamb she’s served them.
